    I wanted to inform all the Muslim women in the area (and neighboring areas!) about the 18th Annual Muslim Women United Conference which will be held this year on the weekend of June 26th – 28th at the Sheraton Hotel on West Broad. According to IslamicFinder:

    Muslim Women United of Richmond, Virginia was established in 1989 by a group of Muslim women in Richmond, who recognize the need to uplift and enlighten Muslim women in the practical application of Islam through education, networking, programming and philanthropy

    Congregation Or Ami at the Islamic Center of Va for a Trialogue this
    Wednesday April 29th at 6:45 P.M.
    This is the second event out of 3 as
    part of an interfaith trialogue. The speaker this time will be Imam
    Ammar Amonette. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be

    Our next meeting will be a brown bag (bring your own!) dinner Tuesday May 19th at 7:00PM at the Islamic Center of Virginia. We’ll be meeting to finalize our vision, mission and goals. We’ll also spend the bulk of our time working on the Islamic Center’s upcoming Open House event in a few months. All young Muslims are welcome!

    A friendly reminder that our 2nd Active Young Muslims dinner will be tomorrow, Thursday April 23rd at 6:00PM. We will be meeting to have dinner at Coliseum Deli (info below). We have reserved the upstairs room for our dinner. To make it easier, everyone will be ordering and paying for their own food. All young Muslims and interested non-Muslims are welcome!
